New Student Employee in Reference - Patricia Hartman
Patricia Hartman is the new Kentucky Small Business Development Center Outreach student worker replacing Bridget Farrell, who will become a Reference Graduate Assistant this Fall semester. Patricia will be supervised by Peter Hesseldenz and be stationed in the desk next to him, formerly occupied by Bridget. Patricia has a Bachelor's degree in English from the University of Florida and a Master's degree in Forestry from UK, for which she wrote a thesis entitled "Habitat Selection of the Cerulean Warbler in Eastern Kentucky." She began work on her Library Science degree this summer. In addition to her student position here, she is also currently working at the Northside Branch of the Lexington Public Library.

LPL Database That May Be of Interest
I know we sometimes have patrons who ask if we have Rosetta Stone or Mango. Lexington Public Library now has Mango, and it can be accessed remotely. Patrons need only have a Lexington Public Library card to access it. (If people live in neighboring counties and have cards from their library they can get an LPL card as a reciprocal borrower.)
